The 25/26 season has got off to an incredible start so far. It's Georges first season as an Irish racer and he's really been getting after it with 3 race victories and another podium. With several PB points scores across slalom and giant slalom. All moving in the right direction and lowering his world ranking in GS and SL.

His GS ranking by the next points list will see him drop to around 500th, considering he was 1400th at the start of the season this is an incredible achievement. His SL ranking will see him improve as well, with plenty more race opportunities to lower his ranking.

The second half of February will see him race in the Dutch Championships, The English Championships, Junior World Championships, Europa Cup starts and potentially the British and Austrian Championships. All whilst still studying for his A Levels in Maths, Economics and English Literature.

Junior World Championships - Narvik, Norway.

It is with a huge amount of pride that George has been selected to represent Snowsports Ireland next month at the Junior World Championships. This is an incredible opportunity to race against the best junior (U21) skiers in the world and really test himself at the next level. All part of the process for him in becoming a World Cup ski racer.

On his return from Norway he will be taking the next step in racing and starting his first Europa Cup races in Schladming down the iconic Planai piste.

An exciting start to the season and it's only going to get better.
